PCP (ParcCentralPark)
ParcCentralPark
is a project initiated in May 2004 by various artist collectives, associations
and locals from Barcelona reclaiming an abandonned space for public use.
From 1999, the land at the crossing of the streets Diagonal and Pere IV
in Barcelona's former industrial district Poblenou already has its future
use assigned - the construction of the so-called Central park. The famous
French architect Jean Nouvel is being chosen to design the space. Expropriations
have been rapid and neighbours had to leave.

In May 2004 ParcCentralPark project invites people to participate actively in the design of this future landscape. BCNova! offered to support and promote actions jointly with ParcCentralpark providing assistance in laying out actions and offering its stand for the distribution of promotional materials.
