In
perspective of the celebration of the Forum Barcelona 2004 - the biggest
multicultural event since the Olympic games in 1992 - BCNova! initiated
a check up of Barcelona's public spaces and surfaces especially focusing
on the criteria of representing multiculturality.
Anticipating the participatory spirit of the Forum, BCNova! initiated
a contest calling for contributions to the "design of a sustainable
cloth".

The results where exhibited in the project space Liquidación Total, Madrid, where the interdisciplinary workshop "B_flexible" took place. Its aim was to evaluate the different contributions made, their aesthetical and social impact such as the further development of a new "highspeed-display" (cloth) to guarantee quick and trouble-free take off.
